A fist curled ready to destroy.
A smile at the ocean wave.
Seven seconds screaming, drawing breath.
Sand and sparkles heaped over death.
A beach. A body. A boy. A burdon.
Bigger. Better. Bolder. Buried.
The waves came in after waves went out.
Cutting revenge is an open path.
Revenge cutting a closed wound deeper.
A bloodstained eye, a bloody nose.
Blood soaked fingers, and bloody toes.
Sand grains scatter seawards.
Seconds fall through clutching paws.
Teeth grit, jaw sore, uncertain still.
Bloated, blurred, heaving waves. Tears.
A special remembrance, unexpected. Tears.
Eternal thanks. Tears.
